This description will add Multimedia Portion elements to
    -  Doc Example.ADsrc  (source,  "W" in the icon).
   -  Doc Example.ADcomp  (compiled, "P" in the icon)
Both files can be found on the CD in the folder
     Samples\Try This\Example Folder
The description presumes all resources (pictures, sounds available) found in
     Samples\Try This\Example Folder\Example Resources\AnimalsOnFarm

There are several Multimedia Portion cases. The case "Text" is the subject of example 19.

FIRST PART, WITHOUT REPETIONS

Do the following steps for this AD group and hints
-  Choose Static Text from the menu Create Element of ADWorks and use its Definition for the first part of this AD group.
-  Choose Select Multimedia Portion from the menu Create Element of ADWorks.
-  Choose Validater from the menu Create Element of ADWorks. See Result.
-  Select the element Multimedia Portion and select the Validater to link them together.
-  Use the Definition of the Multimedia Portion to define his resource, the text AnimalFarmGeorgeOrwellRTF found at the above-indicated location. (The text can be created by any text editor with abilities to save a in RTF-format. ADWorks provides as well RTF-Editor, command File/RTF-Editor. See Illustration).
-  Use the Evaluation of the Multimedia Portion to define the "best" possibilitie. See Illustration for first possibility. OK for "the pigeons fluttered up to the rafters" and setting 4 points leads to this. We want to define some possibilities with less points.
- To this 4 incomplete answers we give 2 points and we add this message.
- Choose, on the Settings tab of the Evaluation Dialog, the Equality Criteria like this. It will be discussed below.
-  Use the Evaluation of the Static Text to define the portions of Referenced Text.
- Add hints to the Validater. See Illustration.
We are ready jump to ADPlayer to test the Multimedia Portion, case Text. See AD group and hints

SECOND PART, WITH REPETIONS

Important preliminary note (similar to note in example 18) :

1) On this illustration from example 3 you see a Text Write Box with 3 Repeating Fields (3 answers are asked). It is strait forward to the user of ADPlayer what he has to do in the case of repeated Text Write Boxes or repeated Choose Boxes.
2) It is probably not strait forward in the case of repeated Multimedia Portion elements. The Static Text must clearly explain to the user, what he has to do. See the example of Multimedia Portion (case Text) with repeating fields that will be created here below.
3) Questions with Multimedia Portion (case Picture) with repeating fields can easily be by passed with Moving ElementsExamples with Moving Elements (target is text, see Example 2) will show how to by pass the present example.

The creation of the present AD group needs the following steps:

-  Use the Evaluation of the Multimedia Portion to define the possibilities. See Illustration for first possibility. Repeat that operation for all appearing  names. Note: some names (e.g. "Boxer") are mentioned more than once. Wee choose them all (12 possibilities), as we don't now which one the user will mark. But: we declare them as the same possibility. See also Example 3, different writings for the same town. See Illustration and its comments.
-  Define the number of Repeating Fields on the Settings tab of the Evaluation Dialog. Choose 8 if you want the user to find them all. There are 12 possibilities, but some possibilities define the same name. This reduces the maximum number to 8. Note:  See Illustration. The Equality Criteria will be discussed below.
-  Use the Evaluation of the Static Text to define the portions of Referenced Text.

We are ready jump to ADPlayer to test the Multimedia Portion, case Text. See Illustration.
This document is saved saved with the name Doc Example.ADsrc  (with  a "W" in the icon).
The compiled file is Doc Example.ADcomp  (with a "P" in the icon)

SECOND  PART, Discussion

1) Equality Criteria

The controllers for the Equality Criteria are located on the Settings tab of the Evaluation Dialog. Observe them on this illustration (on top to the right). The two check boxes are checked, each with a tolerance of 1. This means:
The left border and the right border "must" be selected correctly by the use and 1 character is the tolerance (e.g. for space accidentally  selected).
Only one border must be selected correctly if only one check box is checked.
The following convention apply if none of them is checked: The middle of the selection must be inside.

2) Modifications of the text.

The possibilities in the Evaluation Table are the characters of the text. You will probably need to define the possibilities again when you change the text. ADWorks emits a warning when he detects that kind of changing.
Note, Choose Box are "cool" : When the writing of an item in the list of a Choose Box is changed, then the Evaluation Table is automatically adapted.
