Example 11, Create relevant messages for the Evaluation Table

The preceding examples modified and existing messages. Let's now create relevant messages for the Evaluation Table. This description requires the knowledge of the Guided Visit and Exercise 10.

This description will replace links and create links to messages in the Document_Ex10.ADsrc, found on the CD in the folder Sample/Try This/FolderEx10/. The modified document will be saved with the name Document_Ex11.ADsrc. It can be found on the CD in the folder Sample/Try This/FolderEx11/

We want to replace - in that situation encountered in the exercise 10 - the prepared message with a more relevant one.
- Open the Evaluation Table of the Write Text Box and click on "There is a better..." to remove the message we added in exercise  10. See Illustration.(This will not delete the message. Only the link is deleted).
- Click again, in same line, to choose New Message, using Template (ID 6000). See Illustration. The command New Message will creates a new message, will select the created message and will open the created message on the tab Properties. See Illustration.
- Click on the black é(editor) button and replace “Text here” with the text of this Illustration.
- When you leave with OK the RTF Editor you probably need to... (see Illustration). Define as well your prefered colors.
- Leave the Message Editor with OK. The Evaluation Table of the Write Text Box is now this. We leave it with OK.
We are ready for a temporary jump to ADPlayer to test the created messages. See Illustration.
Let's do some similar step to add some relevant message for the good answers.
- Open the Evaluation Table of the Write Text Box again and click in the Message Column of the first line.
- Choose again New Message, using Template (ID 6000),
- Click again the black é(editor) button and replace “Text here” with the text of this Illustration.
- As before you will probably need to resize the window etc.
- Back to the Evaluation Table of the Write Text Box you will copy the message and Paste it by Reference into the lines 2 and 3. See illustration.
We are ready for a temporary jump to ADPlayer to test the created messages.
Similar to the above steps we can create some relevant messages for the answers New York and San Francisco. See Illustrations 1,  2 and 3.
